Deborah Houston, 59, was homeless and was known to spend nights at the 24-hour Family Food Mart in southwest Atlanta to get out of the cold. On the morning of Oct. 19, she was leaving the business when she was struck by bullets. According to APD Lt. Pete Malecki, investigators believe Houston was an innocent bystander. The investigation into her homicide remains open.
