Police found Jamel Boyer, 33, in southwest Atlanta suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen and chest on Aug. 9. A nurse on scene was able to perform CPR to get him breathing again before he was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he later died. Patrick Curry was charged with murder.
