Mikhail Roman Sher was gunned down on July 17 while investigating a power outage outside a short-term rental home in northwest Atlanta. The 37-year-old husband and father was inside the home when someone shut off the power shortly before midnight. Sher, who had a Los Angeles address, stepped outside to investigate and was shot repeatedly.
