The death of Santonio Mapp was ruled a homicide on Feb. 26, 2020, according to Atlanta police. Mapp was 26 when he was shot at an apartment complex on Alison Court on May 8, 2001, police said. He died in April 2018, according to the Fulton County medical examiner’s office. The homicide case remains under investigation.
