Bell, a prominent hip-hop producer also known as “T.C. Izlam,” was found on Langston Avenue with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died. According to news reports, Bell was beloved in his community and known for coining the “Hip-Step” subset of hip-hop. Taleed Emanuel Paige was arrested in Jonesboro at the end of June in connection with the shooting. Officials believe Paige and one other unidentified suspect shot Bell.
